A portion of the arena seating is referred to as the ‘blue section’. This section is opposite the player benches and has blue chair like seating. A number of questions and concerns about this section have been raised and this page will hopefully address the most frequently asked questions.
Q: How do I reserve a blue seat?
A: Season ticket holders can reserve a seat in this section for playoff games at the playoff ticket presale only. Reserved seats are limited to those that signed up for them at the beginning of the season.
Q: How do I know if I have a reserved seat ticket?
A: Your ticket will have your seat assignment indicated on the back of the game ticket. Also, the seat itself will have a ‘reserved’ sticker on the seat. Note, we make every attempt to mark all reserved seats with a ‘reserved’ sticker, but stickers can fall off (due to cleaning or wear).
Q: What if I don’t reserve a blue seat – can I still sit in one?
A: Possibly, if the blue seat doesn’t have a ‘reserved’ sticker you may sit in that seat. Note you may be asked to move to another vacant spot by the reserved ticket holder in the unlikely event that the reserved sticker has fallen off (or been removed).
Q: Can I reserve other parts of the arena (Railing, non-blue seats etc)?
A: We are continually refining our reserved ticket processes but at this time only the blue seat section is reservable for the playoff games.
Q: What if I want to reserve that seat for the entire next season?
A: We re-evaluate our pricing and policies at the end of every season. Its likely that we will be offering a package that allows for the option to purchase a season ticket and addon the option to reserve a seat for the entire season (with the option to renew the reservation for playoffs). Check the website for announcements as we approach next season.
