Celebration to take place March 1, 2025 at Royal Canadian Legion in St. Marys

The St. Marys Lincolns’ Alumni Group is honouring five St. Marys teams that Merlin Malinowski coached from 2005 to 2010.
The celebration will take place Saturday, March 1, 2025 at the Royal Canadian Legion and later at the PRC when the current Lincs host Western Conference revival the London Nationals.
The Alumni committee is in the process of contacting players and team officials from the five Lincolns teams (2005 – 2010), who combined for 160 wins. The committee is seeking emails, phone numbers, and addresses so they can reach out to everyone who was involved with those five successful teams.
The average of 32 victories, over that span, shows all five teams were a league contender every season in a competitive nine-team conference. Those St. Marys teams finished first, second, third twice, and fourth.
A total of 73 players played on these five teams, some for two or three seasons. Defenceman and St. Marys native Brett Petrie was a key member of four of these teams.
